This course is designed to follow IAMT’s Dry Needling 1 & 2 courses and will continue to build the psychomotor skill and clinical reasoning in the use of dry needling throughout the entire body. The course adds more challenging techniques surrounding the thoracic region, face, head and neck, the deep muscles in the lower and upper extremities as well as DN of structures that are close in proximity to neurovascular bundles and other sensitive structures.  A continued emphasis will be placed on safety, skill acquisition of dry needling technique, clinical reasoning, theory, and scientific rationale behind the application of dry needling.

This lab intensive course consists of a vast number of needling techniques in conjunction with functional case-based discussions to allow the learner to effectively implement dry needling into their practice.  This course is open to PTs and PT students only and is appropriate for practitioners with an advanced skill level.  Prior completion of IAMT-DN1 & IAMT-DN2 or other approved previous training in dry needling as well as 6 months of experience with DN is required.
