E. Larry Grine


PT, MSPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS, CDNT

Larry trained at University of Miami (FL), graduating in 2000 with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine setting since 1993. Larry received credentials as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) in 1994 and as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 1997. In addition, he is a Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist since 1999 and Full-Body Certified in Active Release Technique (ART) since 2013. Larry is currently pursuing his fellowship with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT); where he has completed Levels I-III. Larry has completed Selective Functional Movement Assessment training Levels I-II through Functional Movement Systems and he received his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and became a Certified Dry Needling Therapist in 2018.  Prior to attending University of Miami, Larry graduated from Millersville University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with Minors in Mathematics and Business Administration in 1994.

Larry is a former collegiate athlete, playing Division II soccer, coached various sports, and has been treating with a hands-on approach since 2000. He has a passion for learning, teaching others and helping to advance the profession of physical therapy through educational opportunities. Larry currently is Clinic Co-Director of Virginia Therapy & Fitness Center and has worked or is currently working as an athletic trainer/physical therapist for several levels of sports teams and groups including: the United States Men’s World Cup Soccer Team, Washington Redskins, Delaware Wizards Pro Soccer Team, collegiate athletes, youth travel teams, and triathletes.
