Christina Myers

Dr. Christina Myers is received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Elon College (2001) a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2010) and a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College. Dr. Myers completed OMPT fellowship training with Evidence in Motion and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). Dr. Myers also teaches post-professional continuing education courses through IAMT. Her research interests include clinical education, the relationship between therapeutic alliance and outcomes as well as chronic opioid utilization post lumbar surgery. Dr. Myers has more than 19 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, she has presented at both state and national conferences and she currently serves as a committee member for the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and on a taskforce for theAmerican Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) Institute of Community Engagement. Dr. Myers is currently core faculty at the South College DPT Program.
