Jaison W. Alderman

Jaison has been practicing manual physical therapy since earning his Doctorate of Physical therapy Degree from Shenandoah University in 2011. He has also received his Masters in Business from Shenandoah University in 2014. Jaison is currently pursuing his Certified Manual Physical Therapy (CMPT) from North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He has also earned his Certification in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (CMTPT) through the Myopain Seminars, a Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series. In addition, he has started as an Adjunct Faculty member with Shenandoah University in 2014 teaching Anatomy in the cadaver lab.

He currently works for Virginia Therapy and Fitness Center which is a clinic that focuses on manual therapies and therapeutic intervention. He was also able to participate in the application of aquatic therapy for post operative orthopedic spinal patients, deconditioned patient, as well as, other orthopedic injuries. Jaison has had the opportunity to work with orthopedic patients, scoliosis patients, Players in the NFL, Division I, II and III collegiate athletes, as well as junior Olympians.
